Carson Parker

This weekend I met with my sister-in-law Nicole and nephew Carson for his 3-yr pictures. I learned 2 things fairly quickly; with any young ones have a good bribe bag ready and you really can't expect a 3 year old to cooperate in 30 degree weather! However we got some great shots! I am still editing some of them but for now here are my favorites!
And these blue eyes are straight out of the camera...I am still confused as to where these Phillippo kids are getting their blue eyes?!?!

NICE!

ok so I am impressed...I am going to have to change my goal...if I can get 24 new hits in one day I most certainly can hit 100 in a month...so the goal has been heightened! I want 250 people to visit this site before April 30th! Thanks to everyone for looking!

Visitors being Counted!

I now have a visitor counter!! Jason kept telling me I needed one and TADA...I now have one! It's at the bottom and should track all new visitors. Setting a goal here of 100 new hits for the month of April. Help me out...if you visit and like what you see please send my website onto others. And it doesn't hurt to comment either!! ;)

Gaylord Orpyland Hotel

This place is unbelievable! Under climate-controlled glass atriums, we were surrounded by nine acres of lush indoor gardens, winding rivers and pathways, and sparkling waterfalls. There was just so much to see and I think the pictures turned out great. I hope to be able to return at Christmas.

Side note...we pricelined a room for $50.00 and won a room at the nearby Hyatt Place. I would highly reccomend this hotel. Rooms are great, they shuttle you to the Opryland Hotel and the Opry Mills Outlet malls for free, and offer a complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Amicalola Falls

It's easy to see why this is one of Georgia's most popular state parks. Amicalola, a Cherokee Indian word meaning "tumbling waters," is an appropriate name for these 729-foot falls ~~ the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. And leave it to the Schnaus family to think it would be a great idea to hike up the side! My calves hurt for 3 days!
So my mom thought at one point she was going to have a heart attack! She was a trooper and made it to the top! Just taking a little breather. This is the face of a very angry man trying to be polite on Easter Sunday!
Views from the top.
We all made it...ok so my dad drove up but this is everyone at the top!

Happy Easter!!

Easter Weekend

Since I have been out this weekend Jason and I have been on a world wide tour! So it was just from Indiana to Georgia and back with two stops in Nashville, TN. :) But needless to say a lot of driving. However with lots of travel comes lots of great pictures! I should be able to get some up tonight; tomorrow at the latest. We visited some great state parks in Georgia and then the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. Stay tuned!

Last Night

Last Night Jason and I went to dinner with his brother and sister-in-law. We went to a small restaurant just north of Lafayette. The food was great and I was enthralled with the dam. For some reason I didn't feel like I was in Indiana. :) Some fun pictures, using my new 85 mm lens!

The Weekend

Although most of the weekend was spent at home on the couch we did venture out with friends Saturday night into Sunday morning. :) We went out for a friend's birthday! Happy Birthday Chad! And Sorry Phil!
We did get a chance to stop by a home Jason is working on. It is by far my favorite home they have built. If you are looking into building your dream home be sure to check out Downham Custom Homes.
And...I almost forgot...HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!!
