Amicalola Falls

It's easy to see why this is one of Georgia's most popular state parks. Amicalola, a Cherokee Indian word meaning "tumbling waters," is an appropriate name for these 729-foot falls ~~ the tallest cascading waterfall east of the Mississippi River. And leave it to the Schnaus family to think it would be a great idea to hike up the side! My calves hurt for 3 days!
So my mom thought at one point she was going to have a heart attack! She was a trooper and made it to the top! Just taking a little breather. This is the face of a very angry man trying to be polite on Easter Sunday!
Views from the top.
We all made it...ok so my dad drove up but this is everyone at the top!
